Throughout the 90's and early 00's, my brother introduced me to trance, techno, house, deep house, and the Daft Punk music videos on adult swim. Gosh, it was so amazing to have that exposure. It influenced my musical taste from my childhood, well into my adulthood. I first heard this song when I had to drive with my family to the hospital when my brother passed away. I hated it. I cried. it made me think of everything he was and who was now gone. However, It felt like closure, even though I did not want to accept it. Thank you, Lane 8.
